Everything a DIY couple needs to seat a real wedding
You are planning this yourselves, probably in the evenings, probably with a spreadsheet already open. Here is what the seating chart maker is being built to do. Coming soon
Drag-and-drop tables
Place round, rectangle, sweetheart and head tables, then drag guests into seats. Works on a phone, tablet or laptop.
Import your guest CSV
Bring the list you already have in Google Sheets, Excel or another wedding site. No retyping 150 names.
Together / apart rules
Mark who must sit together and who must never share a table, then let auto-seat do the first draft.
PDF & table cards
Export a printable seating chart, an A–Z “find your seat” list and table cards when you are ready.
Read-only share link
Send one link to your partner, parents, planner or venue coordinator. They see the latest version; only you can edit.
No account wall to start
Start laying out tables first. Save your work when it is worth saving.
Wedding seating chart templates you can use today
Each template explains a common reception layout with real table sizes, seat counts and spacing — free, no sign-up. Sketch on paper now; the same layouts will load straight into the tool at launch.
Round tables for 100 guests
Ten 60" rounds of 10 (or thirteen of 8), a sweetheart table and a dance floor — with the math to adapt it.
Rectangle & banquet tables
Long family-style rows for 50–200 guests: table sizes, seats per table, aisle spacing and a head table.
Sweetheart table layout
Where to put a table for two, who sits closest, and how to seat the wedding party when they are not beside you.
Free vs. “free up to a point”
Many all-in-one wedding sites include a seating chart, but the free tier is not always enough for a full guest list. Here is what we could verify, with sources, as of November 1, 2026. Prices and limits change — always check the provider’s current terms.

Frequently asked questions
Is this wedding seating chart maker really free?
Yes. Building your chart — tables, guests, rules and layout — is planned to be free with no cap on guest count. You only pay a one-time fee (planned at $19–$29 per event) if you want to export a print-ready PDF and table cards. There is no subscription.
Is there a guest limit on the free plan?
No. The free plan is designed for real weddings, including 150–200 guest receptions. You can add every guest, plus-one and child before deciding whether to export.
When will it be available?
The tool is in development. Join the waitlist and we will send one email when early access opens, together with the final launch price.
Can I import my guest list from a spreadsheet?
That is a core planned feature: upload a CSV (from Google Sheets, Excel, or a guest list exported from another wedding site), match the columns, and your guests appear ready to seat.
How does automatic seating work?
You tell the tool who must sit together (couples, families, a guest and their caregiver) and who must not share a table. The planned auto-seat fills tables while respecting those rules, and you can drag anyone afterwards.
What do I get when I pay to export?
A print-ready PDF seating chart, an alphabetical guest-to-table list for the welcome sign, and printable table cards — for that one event. Re-export as many times as you need after late RSVPs.
Can my partner, parents or venue see the chart?
Yes. A planned read-only share link lets anyone view the latest chart without an account and without being able to edit it.
